Preferred Penetrator Radish 50 lbs.
Penetrator Radish is a true forage type daikon radish with a large taproot and superior penetrating ability. It
offers the newest genetics available compared to other cover crop radishs. Penetrator Radish was selected
for a larger tuber and deeper growth then the competitors. Penetrator Radish should be seeded in late
summer or early fall 30 to 60 days before the typical killing frost. Seeded at that time it will grow a large tuber
breaking up compaction, recycle nutrients, improve soil tilth, leaving a beautiful seed bed to no-till into next
spring.

Forage radish is a unique fall/winter crop that is relatively new to the Northeast region.

Deer will eat the plant from top to bottom! Preferred Penetrator Radish becomes even more appealing after a freeze, when the plant becomes sweeter.
