V8 is a brand new state-of-the-art creeping bentgrass cuitvar developed for the elite premium golf course. V8 is currently undergoing beta-testing at a number of golf courses worldwide, while at the same time it is receiving a multi-state analysis in the NTEP putting green trial.

      V8 is a hybrid between two preexisting bent varieties, selected specifically for:

  • Close-cut tolerance for lightning fast greens
  • Dollar spot disease resistance, greatly reducing the quantity of fungicide required.

V8 is best suited to greens and is adaptable to tees, aproaches, and fairways. It thrives across the cool, temperature regions of the world and its adapted well into the transition zone between warm- and cool- season areas.
